An email request for the removal of the music from Kang-Fu was received. At this time, the authenticity has not been
confirmed, however the files have been taken offline for the time being until this is sorted.
ExoticA is a non profit site, which is supported by most of the composers and companies we profile. Permission for files is also obtained where possible, and in many cases the music is submitted by the authors themselves. It is unfortunately in this case that it seems Great Effects Development (GREED) was not able to approach this problem in a friendlier way.

Takedown notice for Kang-Fu Music
Re: Takedown notice for Kang-Fu Music
By the same logic the guy should send the letters to HOL and Lemon Amiga (and lots of other sites) as well.
Both seem to host copyrighted material for the game in question (screenshots, boxscans).

Re: Takedown notice for Kang-Fu Music
What I find hilarious is that Kang Fu is an absolutely terrible game. I'm surprised anyone wants to be associated with it, let alone go making legal threats about the music from it!
Re: Takedown notice for Kang-Fu Music
Yeh. The Amiga format review is pretty funny. they gave it 20% and included comments like
"Even Cathy thought it was crap and she normally likes anything"
I actually own an original of this game (it comes on the PFS cd). Not had the courage to play it though.

VERY funny, indeed.
