We complied with this request. and everything was ok.but i like your work. in our news
we report sometimes from your page. can you add a little text at the music page from our games? example (c) by APC&TCP, dont spread on other pages, ftp and so on?
Then yesterday, I get an email from the company I co-locate my server with asking me to contact Andreas regarding a copyright violation accusation. Here is the mail I was forwarded
What annoys me about this is the fact he contacted my hosting company directly. This is surely the actions of a trouble maker rather than someone wanting to enter into some dialogue regarding the files. He claimed he did this due to not finding an email link for me on the main site. I admit there isnt an obvious mail link on the wiki, but there is a multitude of ways to contact me. He knows perfectly well I'm on English Amiga Board and amiga.org etc, as he has taken my news posts from their and replicated them on his own amiga-future news site.hmm, why you hosting our music and broken our rights?

remove now the illegal files from your server!
Andreas Magerl
I can only come to the conclusion that there is something "wrong" with this guy, and he is out to cause trouble. Funnily enough searching for his posts on forums does show some strange behaviour. He also recently posted about getting hold of some old games. I see that he treats other peoples copyright different from his own!
Anyway - the last mails swapped with him are him stating he would not have given permission without telling me to add a readme inside the archives (but as you see what he said above - his memory is not so good). And he is telling me now I must do this if i want to host them.
To be honest, I just don't like this guys attitude, and am considering just removing the archives and replacing with a comment why they have been removed. Also, it might be worth me contacting the musicians involved, and checking if Andreas M does indeed hold the copyright for their music. Or perhaps I'll just do nothing.
What are your views on this ?
Also note that I have never received similar complaints from any other company/individual. Infact, all other contacts have been positive, with musicians and companies thanking us for the archive.
