MODULES BY VOLKER TRIPP A.K.A. JESTER/SANITY -------------------------------------------- THIS TEXT INCLUDES: MODFILE-INFORMATION, COPYRIGHT NOTE, COMMERCIAL WORK INFORMATION, CONTACT-ADDRESS 1. MODFILE INFORMATION ---------------------- Without exception, the modfiles have been created by myself, Volker Tripp, under the handle of 'Jester'. The only hardware involved was an Amiga 500 computer and an 8-bit Deluxe-Sound sampler. For writing and arranging the pieces I used a PD programme called 'Protracker' which enables you to use up to 4 tracks, each playing one 8-bit sample (sampled at about 20kHz) at a time. Many of the samples originate from 'sampling-CDs' which are basically large sound-libraries containing noises and 'instruments' of all sorts and in great number. The modules included here are a selection of all the Amiga-music I have done between 1991 and 1994. The styles range from pop, disco and techno to more funky and swing-beatish stuff as well as rather dark and industrial bits. All of these pieces have been used in productions of the so-called 'demo-scene', as for example musicdisks, demos, intros and diskmags. 2. COPYRIGHT NOTE ----------------- PLEASE NOTE: You may freely copy the modfiles for your own private use but it is not allowed to implement any of the tunes into commercial or semi- commercial productions without the written consent of the producer (myself). The same regulation applies to 'Public Domain' and 'Shareware' merchants and producers. The use without my written consent is a violation of applicable copyright laws which will lead to civil liability and criminal prosecution. 3. COMMERCIAL WORK INFORMATION ------------------------------ Apart from working for the demoscene I have been collecting experience in the production of music for games and other commercial productions for a very long time. These pieces can of course not be included here for legal reasons. The music for commercial productions can be supplied in various formats. Apart from creating ordinary modfiles, I also do music with professional music-equipment including an Akai S2800i sampler, various synthes, Yamaha Pacifica guitar plus CryBaby wah-wah-pedal and H&K Tubeman, Sure SM58 mic, Tascam mixing desk, various fx processors, Behringer Autocom. These pieces can be supplied on a Digital Audio Tape (DAT) to facilitate implementation into CD-Rom productions. The sound-quality of the music done with the proper music-equipment is uncomparatively higher than the one of ordinary modfiles - it's proper CD-quality music. If YOU need music for a commercial production of yours I would be happy to be contacted. Prices can be negotiated individually if required. The address can be found in the following paragraph. 4. CONTACT-ADDRESS ------------------ I can be contacted at the following address: VOLKER TRIPP IN DER ZIEGELHEIDE 15 46397 BOCHOLT GERMANY Phone: 02871 / 14692 Email: tripp@uni-muenster.de I must admit that it will be rather difficult to reach me by phone. The easiest way is probably the internet or snail-mail. I am looking forward to hearing from anyone interested in a commercial co-operation. Now enjoy the music! Sincerely, Volker Tripp.
