Trivia
Released in December 1996.
Shi en ryuu translates as 'Purple flame dragon'.
The 1st boss design and combat environment in this game is cleary inspired by the 1st boss of "Daioh", a 1993 shoot-em-up produced by about the same staff. Also, the 3rd boss is cleary inspired by the 3rd boss in "Daioh". Perhaps more inspirations to find?
The game forbids the initials 'SEX' on the high score table. If you try, it gets changed to 'ISH'.
