Pony Canyon / Scitron released a limited-edition soundtrack album for this game (R-Type II : G.S.M. Irem 2 - PCCB-00017) on 21 January 1990.

Tips and tricks

Invincibility

  1. Turn DIP 2-7 ON.
  2. Reset the game with holding Player 1-Button 2.
  3. You will be able to start a game with invincibility.
