I think the blog should become a news page where we report major changes to the wiki. I also this we should archive under subpages like news/2006 or so.. I also think we should import the old news as subpage for historical purposes. what do you think ?

I agree with all of that. Makes perfect sense to me, and it would be good to see the old updates to prove the site has been going for 10 years! Yikes!
