They are there but you can't list the folder contents. Grab them from ftp ftp://ftp.exotica.org.uk/pub/exotica That's one damn fast server!!! Thanks for the music! The versions that can be downloaded from the Monkey Island sites, have a MSN buddy leaving sound in the middle, that for some reason no...

Aye, I remember that software. So now you've ripped the music from the game, you'll notice it's in MIDI format. The Amiga version provided it's own instrument set (due to lack of MIDI support) and played the samples out of the next available sound channel, and so sounded a bit strange if you listen...

No and no. You can possibly rip midi files from the Amiga version (I think someone did once), but then how do you get it to play using the instrument set used by the game...? Ripping the music is easy. Just use SCRUMMrev for Windows =) It takes care of the encryption/scrambling on both the Wi...

Monkey Island 2 music as OGG Vorbis?
Hi, Does anyone have the title music from Monkey Island 2 in OGG Vorbis? All the fan sites on the net have the same old mp3 version with some MSN Messager sound in the middle... I have the most feelings for the Amiga version, but if someone have it for the PC version, then that would also be interes...

Later versions of Windows (probably all NT5-based ones) supports zip out of the box, calling archives "compressed folders". I think people geeky enough to be interested in this torrent would have no problems unpacking it, regardless of packing method, so use whatever gets the size down the most. 8)...

Re: ExoticA on Bit Torrent
I'm currently working on providing a torrent for the traditional LhA archives hosted on UnExoticA and also a Zip version for those who prefer it. I'll post an update when it's ready... Doesn't lha have a 1 GB limit? I think I once read that. From what I remember can't Windows unpack zip files by de...

Ey up! I doubt if a 2GB Zip file would be hosted on ExoticA, plus the collection is going to get even larger in time. I am not an expert on the subject, but wouldn't a torrent course less traffic for ExoticA? With regards to providing a bittorrent file - possibly - I'll try and work on something in...

I guess the problem is the collection is always being updated, so you could only really have a seed at a snapshot in time.. and at 2gb that would be some big share. What if there every year was made one full and updated torrent, and when updates to ExoticA are made, updates like HVSC are made avail...

ExoticA on Bit Torrent
Hi,
I was wondering, if it is possible to download the entire ExoticA collection e.g. like the HVSC?
Could this perhaps be done using Bit Torrent in one large zip file, so lha isn't needed?

What format is Baby Jo?
Hi,
I am new here, and was wondering if someone have ripped the music from Baby Jo?
I once tried to rip it with my Action Replay, but it didn't seam to be Noisetracker...?
