Re: How To Get UnExoticA Formats To Work On DeliPlayer
Hi XtC, any progress on your archive? It's been years since I set up my own DP installation, and I don't think I'm up-to-date with the latest replayers from Don. There are some conflicts between built-in and external plugins (TFMX and Hippel come to mind) which I could never quite resolve.

Re: OutRun tape
Just for the sake of having it in Ogg? I'm the most ardent advocate of the Vorbis format, but in this case, the problem is you're not going to easily find a better recording than this one. I had this tape in the past and it didn't survive the new millenium, I was actually surprised that someone at W...

Re: Modland web interface
I like it, the ability to search for specific fields instead of just skimming through the FTP is priceless. For info, I'd like to mention the existence of Modlander, an online player which allows to browse the database by author. Based on BASS, it's very ...

Re: searching for protracker 3.6 or 4.0 replayer
If it doesn't play correctly on the Miggy, it might be a TakeTracker/FastTracker mod, which would explain why PC players don't have a problem with it.

Re: searching for protracker 3.6 or 4.0 replayer
Have you searched the ever reliable Aminet?
http://aminet.net/package/mus/edit/Protracker3.61
http://aminet.net/package/mus/edit/PT4_Beta2
There's apparently a 3.62 floating around, didn't look for it though.

Neat. I've found a couple of PCE screenshots I took a long time ago. http://mapage.noos.fr/kaminari/tmp/shadowofthebeast_113.png http://mapage.noos.fr/kaminari/tmp/shadowofthebeast_114.png http://mapage.noos.fr/kaminari/tmp/shadowofthebeast_115.png http://mapage.noos.fr/kaminari/tmp/shadowofthebeast...

Re: Great CDDA remixes in ports to other platforms
Last word from me for today: Mike Dailly probably knows a lot more about the PCE and FMT versions.

Re: Great CDDA remixes in ports to other platforms
Probably unrelated, but this is amusing. I found in Amiga Report 5.01 (dated 1997) the address of a particular US Amiga dealer in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I live in France, yet I'm a bit familiar with the place. Small world :) DC Productions 218 Stockbridge Avenue Kalamazoo, MI 49001 Phone: (616)373-198...

Re: Great CDDA remixes in ports to other platforms
Ok, just found out on a Japanese BBS that those names are actually credited to the FM-Towns port, so that sounds legit enough. Does anyone know anything about DC Productions? There's one Ian Henderson who writes nice atmospheric music, but there's not a word on him working in the game industry.

Re: Great CDDA remixes in ports to other platforms
So indeed, it's not Tim / Cold Storage. Never heard of DC Productions, very interesting. Alex, where did you get those names (Ian Henderson and Chris Howlett)? The only Google occurrence I found was Wikipedia, and the Beast article doesn't cite any source. Whoever they are, they did an amazing job. ...

Re: Great CDDA remixes in ports to other platforms
> "Ian Henderson" and "Chris Howlett" Those names don't ring a bell at all. It's been a while, but I remember Tim Wright from the end credits of the PCE version. Maybe I'll have a go at the game again. Btw, no wonder the PCE and FMT ports are musically identical, they were both developed by DMA for ...
