Archive Checking - SFV?

Howdy all, The site looks as great as ever, nice to see the demo tracks available now also. Just as a thought, for those who like to keep their own mirror of the archive etc, how about Exotica provide an SFV file for the complete UnExoticA collection whenever there are updates, so users can check th...

I dumped the chip ram in fellow and had a look with exotic ripper 3.3. It thought it had found Possible Old SoundTracker module (2A). mod.dlori. This file seems ok, samples all there etc, but it will not play in Deli-PC, XMPlay. WinAmp plays it really messy/wrong. MadTracker plays it, again the samp...

Hi, I've just extracted the Unexotica Lemmings.lha into a dir, heres how to play - In Deli, open \Lemmings\Custom_Version\cust.Lemmings This will load in the songs and play. They are sub-songs, so use the + and - keys to change subsong. The older version in \Lemmings\Older_Custom_Version\cust.Lemmin...

Update (Wednesday 22 March 2006)

Another great update! However, after getting this down, I found I had only 1617 files, but the update says 1618 total .. After checking my collection against the Big List page, I found that "Wlliams_Bill/Knights_Crystallion_CDDA.lha" has been left off the updates listing ? Keep up the good work ever...

Lemmings

With Lemmings you need to extract the LHA into a folder, as it contains two subfolders with the songs and samples in, which are not parsed correctly in Deli by just loading the lha directly. Structure of lha : Lemmings\Songs\ Lemmings\Instruments\ Lemmings\CUST.Lemmings Then you can open the CUST.Le...

I guess the problem is the collection is always being updated, so you could only really have a seed at a snapshot in time.. and at 2gb that would be some big share. Offline website copier/downloaders could get you a copy of the site/section, but it would create a hell load of traffic and probably br...

Hi, I got a response from Tim, he says the Tentacle game probably never got released, it was being coded by Eldritch The Cat. He very nearly didn't get paid for the music work, but was paid on the day they were packing up shop straight from the cashpoint! Close call! Regards Microcosm, he did the in...

Tim Wright's site

Hi, Just stumbled across Tim Wrights current website : http://www.coldstorage.org.uk/ In his mods section he lists tracks for Tentacle, which I think never got released, although a slideshow existed on an old ST coverdisk once.. But also, there are a bunch of mods for Microcosm(!), so I guess Tim ma...

ProWizard for PC

Hi!

Does anyone know where I can get the latest version of Asle's ProWizard for PC ?

I think it is integrated into WinUAE now, but I would like the standalone command version if possible? I have an old version from 2003 compiled with mingw32.

Thanks guys!

Ripping Graphics..

Hi ! Does anyone know of an Amiga tool for ripping graphics from amiga games/memory etc? I've tried WinUAE with the Action Replay but I don't have a manual and therefore a bit of trial and error. I actually started coding my own ripper - but all the bitplane stuff is proving to be quite tricky, but ...
