Re:

I usually just punch a hole in the lid to release the vacuum. Then I replace the lid with an old one I have saved (luckily most jars use standard dimensions for the lid) or just use the punched one if the contents are not particularly sensitive to air (pickled cucumbers or whatever). You have been ...

Re: MoSeZ (Bad Karma?) music today?

Sorry I don't know anything about this guy. But what format is "symphonie"? Never heard of it before :) Is there any player that handles it on a non-amiga system?

Re: Allister Brimble's new tune (Silicon Heaven)

So.. I just bought it. Terrific track! I don't want to write anything about it, put it into any kind of genre or so - because we all have our preferences and if I say it sounds like this and that, you might think "oh god no". Really, it's an awesome track. Definitely worth every penny! And you get t...

Re: Allister Brimble's new tune (Silicon Heaven)

that is great news :) altho i cant understand why more shops don't offer FLAC. I mean, most devices supports it these days. It's the de-facto standard of lossless, basically it became what ogg/vorbis should have been for lossy. Too bad vorbis development seems kind of stalled lately. Anyway I'll sen...

Allister Brimble's new tune (Silicon Heaven)

Anyone bought it yet? I really want to, but I am a picky person and I dislike buying something crippled like mp3. If I buy something, it's for keeps and i don't keep rubbish (only when I'm too lazy to take the garbage out!). So my question is, naturally, if there are any shops out there that can pro...

Re: Hey Peeps

I don't think there are many plugins for foobar for this sort of (perverted?) thing. The only ones that come to mind are the sid and mod (dumb module player - it's actually called that) plugins. There's a plugin that handles all yer console needs (NES, Sega mastersystem, Genesis, SNES, PC Engine, et...

Yeah, sad. Whatever one might think about his controversial stuff there's no denying he was a big talent. Don't care for much of his newer music, but I grew up with BAD. R.I.P.

Re: Avatars sizes / other customisations

No, I can not turn bbcode on in this area. it works in other areas, but not this one. Also my post count seems unaffected by whatever I post here. Maybe some forum setting? anyway, not important.

Wow, cool. A shame they didn't release a completely new game though (perhaps they will?!).

Good to see some adventure games, not a lot of them out there any more.. :(

XtC wrote:Good job I didn't use my custom made Turrican II intro story AnimGIF as an avatar, its rather large! Which reminds me, I should probably put that on the wiki!
Haha I've heard that one wreaked havoc with BuZz' email client. Seen it, and it's loooong =)

Re: Avatars sizes / other customisations

When I say annoying animations I'm not refering to XtC's one (RSI Megademo rules! Wish it had the sound in it too haha) but rather the stupid long (short movies, even, sometimes!) non-related "funny" ones people seem to be using on other forums.

Re: Avatars sizes / other customisations

I think there's no need for any bigger avatars, that'll only accomodate for annoying animations/huge avatars that make a oneliner post stretch too far. And I agree, people should become more active here in the forums, where are you lurking?! :)
