Gah, I keep doing that.

any news about the last module in the demo?? new player!!! I don't recommend a new player at all, it would be like having a deliplayer for Promizer or The Player... it's a protracker pack format. I've ripped the player code and worked out all the details of the format except for the sample compress...

thx deeply. I'll have a look. Though while waiting for your answer, I had a look at this COP file (Cult MD2 to name it) and it appears to be only a lot of XPK files. Once ripped off, unpacked and merged, it looks like a standard disk dump. hum ... anyway, thanks for your help again :). regards, Syl...

Re: .COP

hi there, I'm looking for a tool that deals with COP files. Anyone knows where to look ?. Thanks, Sylvain The xadmaster system unpacks COP archives. I should know, I wrote the client to do it. xadundisk file1.cop DF0: xadundisk file1.cop file1.adf It's a lot easier than trying to use the original C...

Good news.

I sat down for a minute and worked out both Eye of the Beholder 1 and 2's custom instrument format, and I worked out Aegis Sonix's custom instrument format. I will now convert EOTB 1 and 2 to use Sonix Aegis instruments. I've had EOTB 1 and 2 ripped for years. They use regular IFF SMUS music, with a...

I think it´s a shame, everybody (almost) convert the modules back to protracker, when the coders have spend many hours getting their replayer to work, why convert them back?? Well, if the original on-disk source was Protracker, there's no converting back involved. The main benefit of protracker opt...

LHA is an Amiga standard. ZIP is a PC standard. I don't believe lha is PC friendly for the majority of users. Of course we know that you can play it in DeliPlayer, but lots of people use Winzip and Winamp Actually, LHA was originally written for MS-DOS PCs since 1988 by Dr. Haruyasu Yoshizaki. It h...

simple directory listing, sector data EOR'd with "SmII", files packed with GNU Packer 1.2 or something called "OBJT".

Here's the disk extractor and the unpacked mods. http://kyz.mine.nu/misc/skizzo.lha

Yes, UNIX lha often reports CRC errors. UNIX and Amiga LhA have differences in their CRC implementations, but there's nothing wrong with the files.

What do you guys think? True to form? Should've had a reflection at the bottom like the vision factory cracktro? Should've used the infinite scrollers effect? What?
