Wikipedia is always wrong... isnt it?

Wikipedia has Tim Wright down for music credits in TKGS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Wright_%28musician%29 AFAIK Tim didn't do anything for the Amiga version of TKGS, they were done by Ray "FullFX" Norrish. Could he have done the music for a port to another platform or the SFX? Or is it just ano...

I'll review the music for the other versions and provide details on the musicians and downloads soon.

If anyone knows of other games which were ported to consoles/computers with CDDA versions of classic Amiga music then please let me know.

PCEngine SuperCD-ROM^2

The PCEngine version was done by Davy Jones' company "DMA Design" (the people behind Lemmings and BloodMoney). It is a very good coversion, arguably better than the Amiga version both technically and in gameplay (perhaps not music). The graphics are very smooth, larger main sprite, two retries. Very...

Great CDDA remixes in ports to other platforms

I recently came across an archive of 10's of MP3 remixes of the music from Shadow of the beast 1 & 2. The remixes were remarkably good, studio quality, much better than your usual homebrew stuff which screws with the beat and timing of the original work. Perhaps even as good as the Immortal Remix CD...

Holly Lowe has renamed herself as the band "Like A Thief" and so she (and father Uncle Art) have lost their identity on the net a bit recently.

Thanks to Archive.org, they are not 100% gone

Elwood = Classic?

I've recently been listening to some old music and I came across the works of Jussi-Matti Salmela aka Elwood http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elwood_(musician) I've been listening to his later FastTracker2 mods and the track Deadlock makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. It's got that Ami...
