SAMPLE 1 from a 1989 popular Stock/Aitken/Waterman pop ditty.
SAMPLE 2 from a popular 1991/1992 Amiga computer game.
One point for naming each, bonus point for convincingly arguing they're not similar.

Re: This game is shrouded in mystery...
I've been trying to remember the name of a game for months and months. I don't remember it perfectly, but I remember that it involved firing a yellow laser through a level where you have to use different rotatable reflecting and refracting mirrors to get it in a certain path. Sounds like Mindbender...

Disposable Hero demo rip: BWB ?
Finally, after being on the TODO list for 8 years, I've ripped the music from the Amiga Format demo of Disposable Hero. I've ripped the replay routine, the mods (I'm not sure of their exact sizes) and the seperate sampledata. I've worked out the most basic elements of the mods. These are definately ...

Love yr inner web geek
I just tweaked the look of my website to look somewhat more professional. old, new. Also, you can theme it if you don't like the colours. What do you guys think?
I'm going to get round to modernising the actual contents soon.

name that tune?
So there's bunch of university students that now write game physics middleware. They've got a constructionsite demo video out (17Mb), which has a cracking demotune for a soundtrack.
Does anyone know the tune? If 17Mb is too much for you, I ripped it as a 976Kb MP3 or a 1.5Kb AHX tune

Impressive knowledge there kyz. But Sensible Software, Cinemaware, Innerspace,Bloodhouse, Bitmap Brothers, Ocean etc. went bust due to piracy. The piracy argument has never worked. The majority of games pirates are habitual thieves whose main concern is getting something for nothing, not their love...

Re: Whats the file format of delitracker CUSTOM?
And some of those freeware authors consider it a crime to disassemble their players to achieve compability with other systems. (for example disassemble a noteplayer) And no, open source people have not lost sight, the others have never had it. They can consider all they want, reverse engineering fo...

Wow. Team 17 is really alive, and I don"t like worms that much. Worms this, worms that, can"t they think of somethink better than worms ? The American bigwigs say no, so no. Team17 has to write new versions of Worms every 10 days because Worms is a Big Hit, a Big All-Formats Hit, and that makes lot...

Re: Whats the file format of delitracker CUSTOM?
There is all kinds of broken behaviour in many custom songs, There have also been bad rips in the HVSC for years. Good programmers slowly fix these one by one to make SID replay more convenient and stable. Such is life. and details of the 'official' format are unclear and sometimes even secret. It'...

Re: Whats the file format of delitracker CUSTOM?
Is there documentation for the Custom format where the replay code is embedded? Just from looking at the disaasembly and hex dump of the file it reminds me of a SID tune with a load address and some load rutines to initialize the tune. But from the ones ive looked at the numbers dont make sense as ...

Then I heard about Mods Anthology. Where can I get it (I'm from Germany)?? The Ledstorm.mod on Mods Anthology is the Jogier Liljedahl cover. The Tim Follin original is CUST format only, it was never a mod. If you're still interested in finding Mods Anthology, you should find it on most Amiga second...
