Re: Yeah

Great to get demoscene forum finally :) Hope this will gather some active discussion... more than alt.amiga.demos or alt.sys.amiga.demos for example :P Go and check new demoscene releases at http://jpv.wmhost.com/releases and come back to talk about them =) I hope so too :) Your site is extremely u...

I think maybe accuracy is a key word here. BTTR is good for those who wish to obtain a few cracked adf's, or maybe preview some scene pics or play a few mods, but it doesnt concentrate on accurately preserving the information for many areas. Such as JPG versions of pixelled artwork, or mod rips with...

Back2roots is a very different site from ExoticA, and I wouldn't want to join with it. Why join all the sites into one big site. I think that would make surfing the web a much less interesting experience.

Re: "The Portal" - who remembers the game?

Hello, I am wondering if someone remembers an Amiga game called "The Portal", which was based on a Novel of the same name, I think. Does anyone remember the game and/or the author of the original book? - The book might have a different title, maybe something like "The Migration" or something... TIA...

With regards to the music from Ivanhoe, the PAP file format needs an additional Deliplayer which is available from Don Adan at the Wanted Team website. The music from Pang! is also supported by this player. Just a small addition : To use Amiga players like you will find on the wanted team page, jus...

If it uses a supported file format, I'll upload it to UnExoticA as part of my next update. A...

Re: Problem with Jim Power, SOTB and others

Another point - make sure you have the latest players installed. Although the most recent TFMX delitracker/deliplayer is quite good enough and plays all the tfmx files on exotica. I have tested all the tunes on Deliplayer on my laptop and the ones mentioned all played fine with a default installati...

Re: Problem with Jim Power, SOTB and others

Anyways, I downloaded from exotica the lha files of Jim Power and Apidya, and the files wouldn't run on my deliplayer. I think I have the 1.30 version of the program, and I use a PC, not an Amiga. Problems I've found with music files: Shadow Of The Beast plays the game over tune on every tune I run...
