Ok so the usual game polls have been done....but what about the publishers, the guys that do all the hard work of promoting and selling the damn things?
Your opinions would be appreciated!
I may have missed some.....but hey...the list can't be never ending..can it?
BuZz wrote:Well. you say its the clear winner. but it still has no votes!
How do you vote? It's not that obvious...
eh? you managed to do the other polls! if it doesnt give you option to vote, it means you already voted...
top of thread. select the publisher and click vote or so.

I know I've taken part in other polls, but this one doesn't let me vote for some weird reason.
That is definitely more like it! It's nice to see people taking time out to fill this out as it's quite interesting. Looks like a tie at the moment between Thalamus and Firebird.
If you are lucky I will start the "Ultimate RetroGamer Quizzes", ZEG (you should remember those from Amigaexotic MIRC. heheeh
Publishers were/are the tossers that sit in boardrooms and look at figures and make their judgments on that shite! Forget publishers, developers are who we should be looking at - and I say two teams that held the Amiga flag high (probably much to their destruction these days) - Bitmaps and Team 17!!!!! I'd say Psygyy, but they abandoned the platform that made them (but admittedly, at the right time when it was necessary)
Someone's got to sit in the boardroom looking at figures...being a tosser as you call it. Yes I agree certain Publishers are wank inc. Codemasters and the Darling Twins but as I said already someone has to do it....Otherwise games wouldn't be sold, those wanky figures and trends you mentioned are what sell games.
The coders on the otherhand are generally ageing ex-hippy tree huggers with no inter-personal skills whatsoever....so really you've gone from bad to worse.
A necessary evil I suppose - I just hate it when companies look at the figures without bothering to look at the product - something I'm sure Cryo and Titus (in their earlier days) did all the time.
How did they survive with all the crap they churned out?
Activision did Little Computer People : Activision, then. But the best publisher in my opinion is Lankhor (for the masterpiece Maupiti Island, and some other great works).
