When we move to somewhere with more space I'd love go get a full setup with an A1200 - monitor, acceleration card with 020 and FPU sort of thing.

Amiga user since 1989 (with an Amiga 500).

So you were 9 years old when you received your first Amiga?
Actually it was my dad's Amiga. My brother and I used it very often though.

First we had an C64 (1986), which my dad sold to get an A500. Then in 1989 we went to a store to get an Amiga 500 (they had Battlechess running as demo there :D).

My brother used it mostly for games and I used it for games/AMOS/MED/DPaint etc. When he bought an second hand Amiga 2000+20 MB HD (two and a half years later??) I think I had the A500 in my room.

Hi,

new member here. I'm 28 and have been into Amiga's since 2001. Back in the 80's I used BBC Micro's at primary school and Acorn Archemedes at secondary school.

I am a big AMOS coder and have been for the past few years. I have been helping Spellcoder with his site :)

Regards,

This is quite an old thread ;-)

Well, I'm going to be 32 tomorrow.. I feel old! (Although young compared to wildwest!!) :D

My brother was laughing at me the other day, as he came over to visit and saw me sitting in the garden wearing socks and brown leather sandals. Comfort before fashion I say! Is it wrong to enjoy the antiques roadshow also ? ;-)

I still own 6 Amigas...2 500's...1 500+, a 600 and a 1200. And I still play with them. Awsome machine.
