I've just learned that we have lost an important musician in our gaming history.
Mark Knight wrote: I'm very very sorry to announce that Richard Joseph passed away this afternoon.
He was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year, in France and was undergoing chemo but was very weak.
He slipped into a coma earlier today but sadly his body gave up earlier this afternoon.
Rest in Peace Richard. You were an inspiration mate, a fab musician and person.
I'm sure everyone is familiar with at least one piece of Richard's music to know how much of a loss this is.
Rest in peace Richard, now that you have passed
Into the Wonderful .
Richard's Section on UnExoticA
Richard's Section on HVSC
Cheers!

I'm all teary-eyed now. Tomorrow I'll drink to his honor while playing the theme from Diggers.

I was thinking... we should send a letter of condolance to be read at his funeral. The work we all know Richard for may not be known at all to his relatives. We should make it known that there are a lot of people who remember him and what he did with joy.
