I like it, the ability to search for specific fields instead of just skimming through the FTP is priceless.

For info, I'd like to mention the existence of [url=http://vuplayer.com/modlander.php]Modlander[/url], an online player which allows to browse the database by author. Based on BASS, it's very convenient, although it doesn't have any search feature. And of course, it's only limited to MODs and the like (no HES, NSF, PSF...).

Interesting, and I would try it out if I had windows. Maybe it works on wine.

I've done some more work on the interface and database, implementing a instrument search and browse feature.
Only works for Fasttracker/Protracker currently but more formats will be added.

It does mean modland is back in beta whilst the new features get tested! Please let me know how you get on
