A1200 RiP

Post by XtC »

Ey up!

I was wondering if any of you guys could help out?

My A1200 died about three or more weeks ago (seems like longer)! Have you noticed the lack of updates to UnExoticA?

BuZz sent me a replacement PSU just in case it was that that had died - but I wasn't that lucky. Poor 'Whistler' has well and truly snuffed it!

I am wanting to buy a replacement A1200, so if you can help, there is a PayPal donation button on my homepage...

I've got withdrawl symptoms from lack of Amiga - and I have NO intentions of purely reverting to WinUAE instead of the real thing.

Thanks in advance,

Jase

I have every part of the Amiga except the motherboard and floppy, if it helps :)

Is this a common thing? Perhaps 12 years is the limit for A1200s...

I'm pretty sure the motherboard is fubar'd. The LEDs don't even flicker when you hit the on switch.

Maybe a limit for well-used A1200s...

Bless her, she did me proud!

Been using an Amiga since November '89, and this is the first one that died on me!
