Missing a Brian The Lion tune
I know the tunes were converted as ProTracker but I think it's missing a tune on my list...
I record a 40 sec. vid which there you can listen the music tune missing
Video
Can anyone get it so I can put on my list?

The music in the game is PHA Packer - or as the ripper describes it:
so:
if teres someone out there who knows hao to join the mod data, here´s a link to the memdump:

The music in the game is PHA Packer - or as the ripper describes it:
Code: Select all
The original format was a heavily edited Pha Packer format. The tunes have been converted to Protracker rather than back to Pha Packer format.

Ey up!
It originally came from Hacked Amiga Music:
Brian The Lion
THE ONLY 101% RIP EVER!!!
So unless it's an unsupported subsong hidden away in one of the existing modules that's playing in your snapshot, then I guess Amadeus got his maths wrong...

THE ONLY 101% RIP EVER!!!
Code: Select all
Composer Richard Ede
Copyright 1994 Reflections and Psygnosis
Original format HACKED Pha Packer
Rip method Disk rip! No data taken from memory!
Ripped and Patched by Don Adan/Wanted Team and Amadeus/Shelter
If you have had this game, you will probably remember it for its AMAZING graphics, gameplay, and music!!! With other words; one HELL of a game!!!
I had tried to rip this music for a long time, but only to discover that the Title and End music were packed with Pha Packer. The level music wasn't to find anywhere. Not even with Action Replay.
That is why I would like to thank Don Adan/Wanted Team for ripping and patching half of the tunes, and showing me how to patch the rest!
One of the reasons why the music was so hard to rip, was due to it was spillted in two. Patterns and samples. This is a very common thing to do on the Amiga! This way the game coder can save disk space, if the music composer is using the same sample in other modules!
But if this was the only problem, the music would have been ripped without any trouble. It seamed that the coder wanted to use absolute address reference, which meant the common Pha Packer format was changed WIDELY!!
I won't describe how the music was patched in details, as it would require a great deal of writing, and I don't think it would be useful for other games! But if you have some specific questions, I will be happy to answer them.
All tunes are converted and optimized to Protracker! This gave a shrinkage of 1.2MB!
Cheers!

hmmmm.. - så bliver der lige skåret ud i pap!!!!
The title and end music is Standard Pha Packer - witch prowizard can rip and convert to Protracker
All the other mods is also Pha Packer - but the programmers of the game has splitted them up so they cant be ripped or regonized by prowizard.
A Protracker mod is put together like this (asle correct me if im wrong)
1: Sample data, pattern list
2: Patterns
3: Samples
The problem with this is that none of these ingame mods is stored like this - the reason is to save disc space.
So, right now theres no bonuslevel mod...

Do you have a version that isn't converted, or is that how Don gave it to you?

Converted with Deli-Wizard 2.20 by Gryzor!
Cheers!
This is how Don gave it to me - in the game it´s a splitted and hacked ProPacker 1.0 mod...
Don Adan: wrote:I found only Prorunner2 module and 3 ProPacker 1.0 mods.
