Ive downloaded some of the mods here but would like them as mp3's, Ive tried Total Sound Converter and CDX but none convert and say they dont recognise the .mod format. Anyone know of a good proggy that can batch convert multiple files?

deliplayer might be able to.
UADE can if you script it a little, but some knowledge of scripting on unix alike systems would be needed.

Well Im planning on making a video on the Amiga so I wanted all the game mods and demo mods found on this site converted to mp3 for editing purposes.

Ey up!
I'm guessing your using Windows, since you haven't mentioned it. If so, you've really got three choices: -
- DeliPlayer - a freeware player which plays back almost every Amiga music format catered for. The only minor downside is that you if you want to record the output in stereo, you will need to register the software ($20 US IIRC). It's certainly worth registering.
- XMPlay - another freeware player that uses a plug-in called DeliX that also plays almost every Amiga music format catered for. This time, the player will output in stereo for free. Compatibility isn't quite as good as DeliPlayer.
- WinUAE - you'll probably be using this already if you are creating Amiga videos. It can also output just the sound if needed. This will come in handy for those games that haven't been ripped yet, or aren't properly supported by either of the above players. It's also worth mentioning that if you install a later version of Workbench on WinUAE and then install DeliTracker, that you'll be able to play certain formats that neither of the above players can handle.

A fourth choice:
- UADE - v2.09 for Cygwin (Windows). A minimal build of the UNIX Amiga Delitracker Emulator for Cygwin (UNIX environment for Windows). Includes all the files needed to run under Windows, no tons of Cygwin crap to install. It is CLI only, easy for batch scripting.
