Amiga Music

Hello,

I have been using Deliplayer [is this discontinued btw?] to hear the Amiga music downloaded here, and made use of the Streamrecorder to dump the files into .WAV.

The .WAV files play fine on Windows Media Player, but Realplayer doesn't seem to recognise them at all.

Also, I wanted to transfer these to my Nokia mobile, but that too is not being recognised.

Can anyone give any help? I had used Super Jukebox to play and dump SNES music files and that played fine on Windows Media Player, RealPlayer and on my mobile.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure why realplayer doesn't like them. Although realplayer is a really nasty program! Why not encode the tracks to mp3 or something?
Alternatively you might be able to process the wavs though something like sox.

if you wanted to keep the tunes as lossless, you might consider something like FLAC

Hi,

You are on Windows, isn't it ?

You can use Winamp . It's really easy to transcode Amiga exotic formats ! :wink:
Just for info, you can save, in WAV, all formats (native or with plugins). :D

To save in WAV, choose in Options --> out_disk.dll.

For more informations about Amiga formats plugins for Winamp, see on my webpage :
Woolyss Tracking --> Module players

Good luck !
