The adf can be found here.

I would really like to have the awesome music from the title screen in .mod format, does anyone know where I might find this?

Well, uade of course! http://ee.tut.fi/~heikki/uade.html . It is open source, and it will probably last for decades to go. It can always be recompiled to new platforms regardless of changing hardware and/or operating system.

Ah.. well I'm on Mac OSX, and I have no experience with compiling... is there a way to convert this to .mp3? Thanks for your quick help!

As it happens to be. UADE already runs on MacOSX with sdl sound target. There were slight compiling problems but they should be fixed by now..

Contact any of your friends who know how to compile stuff for macosx. Basically compiling is trivial. You need xmms development kit and compiler tools:

./configure --with-sdl
make
make install

(not as root, but as the user who would use uade)

ogg vorbis version

Here's an ogg vorbis version synthesized (70% mono):

$ uade -pan 0.7 cust.bdcol -outpipe 1 |sox -t raw -r 44100 -c 2 -s -w - music.wav
$ cat music.wav |ssh friendshost "oggenc -q 5 -" > music.ogg

(ain't unix fun?! encoding on a friends machine is a trivial round-trip on the command line :)

Or you can also get it from: http://shd.ton.tut.fi/BoulderDash-MegaCollection.ogg

Thanks a lot for this, but I was in fact looking for the music on the credits screen shown at the very start of the game! Could you please give it the same .ogg treatment? You don't have to, but it would mean a lot to me. (Nostalgia can be scary sometimes, no?)

This was the only other music I found from the game. I ripped it from the boot loader. It's actually only a short sample:

If there are _any_ other songs please tell me. I couldn't find others.
