I am afraid I differ from most of you and my favourite C64 tunes would have to be the following:-
1). Cybernoid 2 (especially around 2 minutes or so into it).
2). Scarabeus (Fantastic if a little repetitive).
3). Ocean Loader (Martin Galway).
4). Thrust.
5). Wizardry.
Could only manage 5 at this moment!

My top 5

Well, people all seem to agree on Ocean Loader1. Hey guys, has anyone of you ever heard Ocan Loader v3 by Peter Clark?? That was something, 100x better than OL1!! I almsot cry when I listen to it!
Apart from that other favorites:
- Hysteria (in game music): Fred Gray,
- Passengers On the wind: Charles Callet ->he made the C64 sound almost like an Amiga!!
- Great giana Sisters: Chris Hüellsbeck,
- Menace: David Whittaker,
- sigma Seven: ron hubbard.

IO was one of the very last great games to be released on the C64, whereas the ST and the Amiga were already at the top. That was a fantastic shoot'em up by firebird. Really a masterpiece.
