Ey up!

This update is almost entirely based around Ben Daglish.

Thanks to Don Adan!
Cheers!

Where should I send rips?

Post by Codetapper »

I've ripped a few tunes from games lately and sent them to Buzz - and they simply get ignored!

Is there somewhere else I should be sending them? I sent the Harley Davidson music several months ago (and there have been Exotica site updates since then) and recently the missing tune from Woodys World. Not a peep!

I'd like to know an email address that will actually use the files, otherwise I won't bother ripping them anymore!

Put them up on ftp.modland.com and I will accept them with the utmost gratitude. 8)

Not entirely true. I normally send a reply thanking you and send a copy to XtC. I didn't reply to your last email yet as I was working like crazy yesterday to finish a presentation. It's now 7:20am, and Im soooo tired, but I aim to get back to you at the weekend when I sit down at my Amiga.

Your help is very much appreciated!

Send them directly to me please...

xtc [at] amigaguide (dot) org

I'll will then add to them to the collection as soon as I can - though that doesn't necessarilly mean next day or next week. I wish I could!

Please bear in mind that when someone sends a soundtrack rip to me, I need to check the game/demo myself to ensure no other pieces of music are lurking in there, that the rip isn't corrupt, and to double-check the game credits.

If I've uploaded something to UnExoticA, it means I've double-checked it first - and by it's very nature, that can take longer to achieve.

So please, if you have ripped anything else then by all means send it to me and I will add it to the collection as soon as I can.

Thanks for that - I've sent the latest few rips to you including an unreleased WHDLoad slave so you can check for more music - but I already have! :)
