!!!!!!! arh !!!!!!!!

I thought that you would keep the modules in that format they are in, in the demos (the mods in the ARTE demo is in Noise Runner format, but they have converted them back to protracker.... why???) or did you get em from moby?? (Frederic).. or did XtC make a floppy rip??

.. however, the mods from VD's Full Moon is in P50A (Great!!!).. is there an explanation??

The noble Kyzer ripped the above soundtrack, and would be the better person to ask that question to...

I believe the answer to this is because either the tunes are stored on the disk as mod and converted once loaded from disk and them played by the demo using the fast replayer. Alternatively they are original mods direct from the Author. We don't convert back to protracker as you know. So that is not a possibility.

Actually, I've just remember something Kyz(er) said before Xmas. He mentioned that all music hosted on UnExoticA (Game and Demo) are disk rips.

The only time any comments need to be made regarding the modules is if they are:

a) Memory ripped - a useful but lame method, which I'm guily of using if all else fails.

b) Original modules supplied by composer - something we could really do with seeing more of.

So by default, the Arte music is disk ripped.
