Need help here! Anybody can help?
I'm searching for Warhead's title tune (the cult-game by Glynn Williams)
but it seems to be impossible to find. Any good rip to put on UnExotica?
Bye'n'cheers from Udine/Friuli/Italy

Warhead Theme Tune

Post by Zzap64 »

Hi Skan,

The simplest thing would be to go to the home of the high voltage SID collection and download all tunes ever made on the C64 (don't forget to download the SID player from the same place) -

home.freeuk.com/wazzaw/HVSC/

Hope this helps....it's all I can suggest :)

I might have the time to do the rip. Perhaps some day this week.

Here it is, a late christmas present. I just did the rip:

http://uade.ton.tut.fi/amiga-music/cust ... ad.tar.bz2

and individual files

http://uade.ton.tut.fi/amiga-music/customs/Warhead/

It was a bitch to rip. 16-bit memory addressing was annoying to relocate, the replayer had interrupt race conditions, and it was coded so redundantly it hurt my eyes. I'm pretty sure they didn't know how to program amiga sound hw.

Tested on UADE and a real amiga.

Unexotica people, take notice!

You left my text file away from the lha on the update!

http://uade.ton.tut.fi/amiga-music/cust ... _intro.txt

It's important not to leave these things off! It contains my email address for people to contact me if there's something to fix. It also contains md5sum of the custom file. And in general, these text files shouldn't be taken away.
