I do indeed, not sure if the game has copy protection as there is a disk duplicator on the disk.

I've also got the rolling demo's for Beast2 and Beast 3.

I'll test tonight, if it's possible to DMS the disk, were do you want it??

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Yes please. Could you send all 3 demos to xtc at amigaguide.org?

TIA

Shadow of the Beast Demo - for the Masses!

Post by XtC »

Ey up!

Thanks to the generous donation from Alex Holland, and the rapid coding skills of Psygore, you can now obtain a WHDLoad installer for the 1989 Shadow of the Beast rolling demo from...

http://www.whdload.de

If you don't own a copy of this demo, and it seems that most people don't from the lack of response in this thread, you can obtain a full installation from Psygore's website...

http://p.muhlheim.free.fr/Amiga/demos/demos.html

And for those crazy about this series of games, check out...

http://home.t-online.de/home/dex.ter/

...the site makes reference to a CD³² version titled Shadow of the Beast Trilogy. Does anyone actually own this?

Cheers,

The same guys who brought you the rolling demo for Shadow of the Beast now bring you the sequel.

You can download 'em from the same links given above.

I found some more Psygnosis demo disks which I've CAPS'd and I'll send them to Psygore and see if he'll create some WHDLoad slaves

Awesome - 1450
Barbarian 2 - 1451
Ork - 1452
Shadow of the Beast & Blood Money - 1453

(Numbers refer to CAPS image I created)

I went to the WoA in 1992 picked them all up at the Psygnonsis stand, was Aquaventura out then? If it was then I might have it somewhere in the multitude of disk boxes I have here.

The publish date was 1992, though IIRC, I think the game was finished a few years earlier. It's possible they might have been showcasing it at WoA in 1992...
