Ticketing System for UnExoticA

Post by XtC »

Ey up!

BuZz, do you think we should have some sort of ticketing system for UnExoticA?

If people want to submit rips from Amiga games and demos they can start the ball rolling by placing a request using this system.

Once a request has been agreed, the files can be uploaded via FTP to the ExoticA server, then one of the admins can sort the files and add them to UnExoticA when they get a spare moment.

By doing this we also have method for people to check the status of their submissions.
Cheers!

Well, we could have a wiki submissions page. Saves trying to find/write a suitable ticketing system. The wiki will allow archive uploading. I just need to finish configuring it :)

I protest against calling coder-converted versions of modules "original". 8)

But it's a great idea.

Well, if the original mods are available, we would always use them. But we would also keep the rips anyway.. just in case the tunes were tweaked/changed.
