A possible influence for a game musician.

Post by InterZAA »

I recently listened to the song "Stripped" by Depeche Mode and I was surprised at how similar it sounded to the "Shadow of the Beast" soundtrack by David Whittaker. I found myself enjoying it greatly. I'm just wondering if anyone out there has noticed other bands or songs sounding like music from an Amiga game. Please post, I'm really interested. :D

Depeche Mode - "Sometimes I wish I was dead" ...
and Rob Hubbards - "Jet Set Willy" ... compare them...

also some very old synthesizer albums from SYNERGY...
there is the blueprint for "master of magic" on one of them.
