Jesper Olsen Music (Lollypop)

Post by srlsrlsrl »

Hi
Does anyone know how to play Jepser Olsens music format (Lollypop) ?
I have tried Deliplayer, and it doesn´t work (Even though it says that it should).

I remember the game (I was a gametester on it, and music screener here in Aarhus DK) and the music was execellent both Adlib and MT32...and of cource the Amiga version also.

I would very much like to hear it again on a Pc, both Amiga and Pc version.

Also if anyone have the game for Pc, I would really like to try it again !

Hey Steen

You can download an amigaplayers pakage on modland:

ftp://ftp.amigascne.org/mirrors/ftp.mod ... layers.zip

Then copy them all to the Deliplayer/amigaplayers folder, make sure you delete all other replayers in the folder before copying..

-edit

You can dload everything in *.JO (Jesper Olsen) on modland to..

Now I can listen to the much Ghouls´n´Ghost (Tim Follin) again ! :D

All I need now is to find the PC music, but that´s probably the wrong forum.

Cheers

If you mean the adlib version, you can get it on modland....

You mean like the sticky that's been at the top of the UnExoticA section of this forum since August last year?

That package on Modland hasn't been updated for a long time, so I would recommend XtC's method instead. What I would hope for most, though, is that people would stop using the abandoned DP and go for something that is actively developed.

But some people even use Modplug, I've heard...

Ey up!

If I'm not using DeliPlayer, I use XMPlay with the DeliX plug-in. I only really use XMPlay as it supports some non-Amiga formats that DeliPlayer doesn't - yet.

I'd be happy to use a version of UADE for Windows if anyone had the time to port it? Or (other than DeliX), has it been ported already?
Cheers!

I have migrated completely to XMPlay with DeliX (and the other native plugins), and a few Winamp plugins for maximum compatibility.

ok, can you make a pakage on modland, so one download should cover it all??

BTW - Happy to read that Deus-ex has been promoted to cosysop!!

XMPlay isn't nearly as complicated to get to work as DP was, with all the half-incompatible plugins DP relied on. But maybe I'll put something together.
