ExoticA is an Amiga and retro gaming/computer music interest wiki including search-able computer music collections, game and demo scene information and plenty more.
Well, BuZz is responsible for putting together the Exoticons pack.
There is a box scan section on ExoticA, so it might be worth going through the existing scans and see which ones you have that ExoticA doesn't. Then, if you have some time, perhaps you could scan them?
I'm sure BuZz would appreciate more additions to the box scan gallery - and at some point he may also do an update to the Exoticons...
I also seem to remember that BuZz was thinking about providing individual icon downloads too.
(Just waiting for BuZz to reply as he's been retro-partying hard this weekend! )
I'm sure BuZz will agree - or I'll bitch slap him!
HOL is certainly an excellent website, though it's a shame they have to impose limits on page views.
This doesn't happen with ExoticA.
With the almost ready-to-go-live wiki version of ExoticA (Kyzer's UnExoticA porting pending - if he's not dead), members can upload their own scans without waiting for an webadmin to do the work for them.
Plus, anything you upload is automatically credited to you - as is the nature of a wiki - whether you like it or not!
I would be very interested in any scans you have. Since the old site is quite hard to maintain, if you would like, you could help us with the new one. You can add images to the new games gallery here:
I will take a look at my amiga scripts to give you the commandline options. As my a4000 is currently in bits, this will have to wait until later. (I might be able to do it tonight)
Thanks for the contributions. Please try and aim for at least 150dpi x 150dpi and save with "high" jpeg quality. (Such great art needs to be treated well )
I think the non box scan stuff should be on a different page. You can always add a special "Canon Fodder Collectors Items" page for example with the other stuff on it ? Or something
When you've finished uploading your scans, I'll show you - perhaps you could create a page telling us about what possessed you to purchase the Sensible Software Collection from eBay.

PS : i have upload and added more again box scans, even in the
utils, with many rare ones.
I've noticed, thank you. It makes a change to see so many utility box scans. I wondered how long my AMOS box scan was going to remain on it's own!
