ECC93 was held in Örebro, Sweden by Virtual for the amiga scene, and
officially sponsored by Swedish Commodore. Over 600 visitors showed up. TV21
showed up as well and went around interviewing a lot of people. A few weeks
later they showed some demos from the competition along with the interviews
on their Friday night show 'Metamorph'. A member of Genetic was caught
stealing hardware, and the police was called to the place.
  The prizes to be won in the demo competition differed a lot from what was
promised in the invitation; the prize for the winner was promised to be
15,000 SKR, but in the end it became 2,000 SKR and an A1200. The party was
sponsored by Commdore, as mentioned who showed up to demonstrate the then-
new CD32. Graphics results are reproduced here, since I seem to remember
them being less than complete in my list... No pic names etc.
