AMIGA ACTION ISSUE 62 OCTOBER 1994,
'Flabbergasted. That's what we are, flabbergasted.'

COVERDISKS:

Oh my word! Amiga Action smashes the world record for playability this month. Spread across our fabulous three disks are 24 different things to play. that includes some of the best commercial game demos around today too. On disk one is probably the largest demo we've ever carried. Courtesy of system 3 is an A1200 demo of the 91% rated Putty Squad featuring eight full levels from the finished product. It'll take an age to complete and it also looks so stunning you can show it off to your smarmy console mates too.
On disk two we give you the chance to win a fabulous TV systems courtesy of Milennium and their Vital Light demo. It's Tetris with a difference but if you want to get your hands on some new electronic goodies then read the VL section for further details. Also on the second disk is another fruit machine from the Bandit Mania Game. World Tour is included in full for you to sample, so if you like to gamble without any risk at all then this is the financially secure demo for you.
If you thought that all this was enough to keep you going for days you'd probably be right, but if you insert disk three you'll be faced with a further 21 full games including classic Space Invaders and Asteroids clones. Check the full listing for further details. Just pop it in and use the simple menus to load the game of your choice. Thse disks will never be beaten for playability so don't pass up this oppurtunity.

DISK 1:

PUTTY SQUAD (A1200)

We're proud to present you with an excellent demo of system 3's forthcoming Putty Squad. Take control of a small blue piece of plasticine and charge about the screen without a care in the world

Can't get this demo to work with any Amiga Emulator.

DISK 2:

VITAL LIGHT

We like a good shoot'em-up here at Amiga Action and that is exactly what Millennium's Vital Light provides. In a sort of Tetrisy vein you have to shoot the falling blocks before they reach the bottom of the screen

WORLD TOUR
We followed up the Winning Post with Tic Tac Toe and now follow that up with another top gambling sim from the excellent Bandit Mania compilation.

DISK 3:

21 FULL GAMES
We didn't have room to name all the games on the coverdisk label and we don't have room here either. There are just so many of them. What we say is that featured on the disk are what we consider to be some of the best PD games available. If you want to know more you'll just have to turn to page 6. Go on then, away you go...
