AMIGA POWER ISSUE 23 MARCH 1993

There's something for everyone this month, from ardent pacifists to the most deranged and disturbed violent mind. If your idea of a good time is helping a small child across the road, or kneeing a total stranger in the kidneys, then we can help. Details below.

And this is disk 23...
DISK 23:

SLEEPWALKER

Never before have small, cute kids been so utterly exasperating. It's time to play the part of the helpful but long suffering pet of one such brat in this playable demo of the game that's not only going to raise masses of cash for charity, but is also one of the most original games we've seen in ages.
The last pathetic but admirably charitable fund raiser was the so called 'novelty' record from questionably humorous comedians Hale and Pace, and the time before that it was Bananerama and Lananeeneenoonoo singing a pleasing little Lennon and McCartney number called 'Help!'
This year, to go along with bus drivers dressed as gorillas and neuro-surgeons in saucy French maid outfits, there's another addition to the well-oiled charity machine that Red Nose Day has become. And guess what? You've got part of it for free!

BODY BLOWS
Every so often, it's good to snap a mate's arm, shatter his leg, or maybe push his nose bone into his skull, killing him instantly. Unfortunately, murder's still a crime in most parts of the world, but thanks to Team 17's spine-crunching demo, you can safely indulge in needless violence without being arrested.
The Big List of Impossible Acts lists juggling the AP team one-handed as being easier than talking about Body Blows without mentioning Street Fighter II. See? We only just started and we've already done it. And since Lisa (who bruises easily) was dropped the last time
anyone tried the other thing, it's been banned. Team 17 are, even as you read this, struggling night and day to perfect what they believe will be the ultimate Amiga beat-'em-up.
There'll be loads of exotic locations and characters to choose from, but in this pre-release version there's only hardened street fighter (tut, there I go again) Dan or the Ninja, fighting on his home turf of the Ninja Cavern. It's a two player only demo, so you've got to drag a friend, your gran or anyone else really to waggle joysticks against, otherwise you'll win every time.
