V2
Closes
RobotRiots very
succesful legal Amiga site has
closed its doors. A message was
posted by Robot riot on his site
This
site is no more. Yes, V2 is shut
down. And it won't return. The
reason? I don't have the time
anymore to update my site, and
who wants an outdated site? Okay,
I have to admit that I'm very
lazy, too :) ... plus: I lost 99%
of the data I had on my PC after
a crash. I still will be on
Emulation Talk and have an eye on
the scene :) Sorry people.
Very special thanks to the
following people who supported me
over the last months:
A.V., Ant, Bobic, Hippie 2000,
Morn, Mr Dig, Mr_WC, OVERDOC
... and of course to Krawall.de
for hosting me.

I'd
just like to say thanks to
RobotRiot for all he's done for
the scene. The 'Crack Intro'
disks which were originally found
at 'V2' can now be found at 'Amiga
Vision'. And don't think the
memories of 'V2' will go - It
will soon be included in the 'Back
To The Past' archives, along with
'Guru Meditation' and 'The
Dreamzone'

Emulation Nation Problems
Over
the past few weeks Godflesh has
had many problems with people
attacking his site. The first
major incident occured when
somebody deleted a large
proportion of his FTP. The
culprit also posted a message on
the Emulation Talks Board,
boasting of his attack. However,
this was only the start of his
problems. A week or so later, 'Cas'
posted a message on the Emulation
Talks message board. saying that
there could be trouble brewing.
Somebody had changed godfleshes 'i.am'
redirection url, direction it
from his own site, to another
Illegal Amiga Site (Amiga
Memories) . His Guestbook
containing over 150 enteries had
also been deleted. A person
called ' Amigaman ' was the
culprit, although it was not the
webmaster (Amigaman) of the site
where Godfleshes url was diverted
to ' Amiga Memory ' ( the
webmaster of this site, was also
called Amiga Man. The culprit
AmigaMan has poasted several more
messages on Godfleshes new guest
book
Hopefully, this is the end of the
sitution.
Cas Returns
Cas has recently returned to the
emulation Talks board. Cas, was
the target of some uncalled for
abuse several weeks back. He left
soon after. But he has recently
returned, which is great news for
the emulation, and real Amiga
users - Welcome back Cas
'Amiga
Legal Emulation' looks like a 'Lemon'
MC
wildsytle, webmaster o f the
legal site ' Amiga Legal
Emulation' has come under fire in
the past few days. He has
relaunced his site, claiming on
the emulation talks board to have
a complete new look. However, it
did not take emulation lovers
long to realiser that his site
layout was just one large ripoff
of the C64 emulation site, Lemon,
hosted by Emucamp.
MC
wildstyle has come under fire
from users of his own forum, and
even large emulation sites such
as emucamp. In a statement on his
site he said...
Okay,
here it is plain and simple. The
new look ALE is exactly like the
great Commodore 64 site LEMON by
the talented Kim Lemon.
I have recieved a number of
Emails about this and would like
to clear things up a little.
Lemon is a great site with a cool
layout and I really like the site
and respect the maintainer.
So why use a similar layout and
graphics?, time! - I am running
out of spare time as employment
beckons and my weekends are not
my own anymore.
Serious changes have already been
made to ALE following these
complaints. My aim is to keep you
the community happy and I hope
that this will do the trick.
My apologies to Kim Lemon. Please
visit the Lemon web site.
An anonymous posting on the 'Emulation
Talks' board a month or so ago,
brought forward a comment about
MC Wildstyle copying all his
ideas from other sites, and put
forward the suggestion that 'MC'
stands for 'Master Copier' -
Looks like he was right
