Cult's CeBIT '92 Party

   14.03  Cult's CeBIT 92 Party.

The CeBit afterparty was held at a youth center in Hannover, Germany by
Cult. About 500 people attended the party. People came from as far away as
Italy (members of Divina and IBB) and Poland (Mr.Root/Acme). There was a
projector present for the competitions (very rare in those days), one which
entries could be seen on a screen the size of 2.5x3m. The original entrance
fee was set to 5DM, but due to the extra cost of the projector, which the
organizers considered a very important, it was raised to 10DM. Some of this
extra money meant there were more money for the competition winners, so not
that many complained about the added cost. Food and drinks were available at
reasonable prices. The prices in the competitions were 250DM for first price
music, 300DM for first price gfx and 500DM for first price in the demo
competition. The local press and almost all amiga magazines were present at
the party.
