SS1 was held at Cinema Rex in Belgrade, Yugoslavia by Corrosion for the
amiga and pc scenes. This was the first time Scene Strike was arranged, and
another one followed next year. It was a one-day event, and about 150 people
attended, of which 70% were on the amiga. Due to a lack of coded entries,
the demo competitions were merged. The graphics competition was split into
two sections, with one for the standard pixelled pictures, and one called
"Photoshop" for artists that use image generation/processing software to
create their images.
